Release date of iOS 18.3: When will you be able to try this new and fun feature?
We do not expect major changes in the upcoming iOS update, but so far there is one interesting aspect to highlight.
The next major update for iOS seems not to be too far off, although it is not expected to bring many new features. The anticipated update is iOS 18.3, which makes sense since iOS 18.2 has just been released. However, the exact release date for iOS 18.3 and the specific details about its content are still unknown. Based on previous releases, it is estimated that the x.3 updates for the last three versions of iOS have taken place at the end of January, so it is reasonable to assume that iOS 18.3 could be released in that same month, unless any issues arise.
As for the major features that iOS 18.3 might include, currently there is only knowledge of one new feature, which may not be very significant: the control of robot vacuum cleaners. This will allow users to manage their vacuums through the Home app, similar to how lighting and other smart devices are controlled. Interestingly, Apple does not have its own robot vacuum in its catalog, although this could change in the future.
Everything else seen in the developer beta of iOS 18.3 is mainly classified as "bug fixes and minor improvements." This does not mean that more relevant features won't be presented in the future, but aspects like Apple Intelligence will likely have to wait for iOS 18.4, at the very least.
