PlayMate from Motorbunny allows your console (to some extent) to control your pleasure experience.
Motorbunny will soon offer a wireless controller that can be paired with your game console controller, allowing you to remotely control your sex toy.
In a curious fusion of the world of video games and adult technology, a school legend has emerged about transforming a PlayStation 2 into an improvised vibrator using Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3. The idea was to build a circular grind rail, disable the fall, and when jumping on it, the DualShock controller would activate in an endless frenzy of haptic feedback. This concept has been taken to the next level by Motorbunny, which has developed a wireless controller for its eponymous sex toy that can connect to a DualSense controller.
Motorbunny's proposition is a blend of entertainment and pleasure, allowing users to combine their gaming sessions with intimate moments. During CES 2025, held in Las Vegas, Nevada, the PlayMate was introduced, a wireless dongle that controls the robust chair-shaped toy. In its demonstration, the PlayMate was connected to the USB-C port on the back of a DualSense while operating a PS5 playing Rocket League. However, contrary to what was imagined, it is not possible to extract haptic data from the DualSense or any other video game controller. Instead, the device has a gyroscope that tracks the movement of the controller, using this information to operate the Motorbunny. While it does not compare to the original idea from 2001, it at least offers an opportunity for some to blend their hobbies.
The PlayMate is just one of several products the company plans to launch, including a range of more affordable vibrators under the Fluffer brand. This sub-brand aims to unite the worlds of gaming and pleasure, and even the accompanying app includes some arcade games to control the toys. In one of the demonstrations, a clone of Flappy Bird was presented, which increased the intensity of the vibration depending on how long the bird was kept in the air. Although details on pricing and availability have not yet been shared, the company anticipates that a full range of products will hit the market in the coming months.
