Players will need a quiet place if they want to survive in the game A Quiet Place.

If they hear you, they will come for you. Just like in the movie!

Saber Interactive has shared interesting details about their upcoming game A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead, which will include a feature that, while seeming obvious, wasn't guaranteed: the use of the microphone. This feature will allow the game's monsters to react to sounds you make, both within the game and in real life. If you make any noise, they will be aware of your presence and will chase you, just as in the movie.

The use of the microphone will be optional, although many players might find it an appealing addition. Saber warns that by granting access to the microphone, the game's monsters will be able to "detect every sound you make in real life," which means that even the vibration of the controller or the noise from a dryer could put the player at risk. While A Quiet Place is not the only game incorporating a microphone into its mechanics, nor is it even the first horror title to do so, the way it is applied in this case seems very fitting.

Additionally, Saber Interactive is developing a game based on Avatar: The Last Airbender. For those interested, A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead will be available on October 17 on Steam, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S, and can already be pre-ordered for $29.99.
