Paramount+ has implemented generative artificial intelligence to develop curated collections aimed at child-focused content, specifically designed for families. This technology allows the platform to promote both new and classic programs that subscribers may not have seen before. With these collections, the goal is to enhance the streaming experience for both children and their parents.
The initiative is based on information gathered from users, revealing that many children and parents are drawn to specific themes within the series. By conducting research studies through direct communication with children and their parents, Paramount+ identified the themes to include in each collection. Examples of these collections include: Space Exploration, Crazy Things, Bold Stunts, Treasure Hunt, Secret Worlds, and Exploring Nature.
This content aimed at children is available on all devices through the "Older Kids" profiles, designed for an audience between six and thirteen years old. Once a child profile is created on Paramount+, the platform only shows programs that correspond to a specific age range, thereby ensuring that inappropriate content is restricted. To set up the profile, simply log into Paramount+, select "Add Profile" in the upper right corner, enter the child's name, and activate Kids Mode. By choosing the "Older Kids" option, the user will be ready to start.
Additionally, Paramount+ features a vast library of children's content that includes iconic characters such as SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer, and the Rugrats. Speaking of SpongeBob, a new horror special titled Kreepaway Kamp is now available, where the beloved character heads to Kamp Koral for a reunion, but mysterious disappearances of campers begin to occur.
