Nanoleaf Unveils a Disturbing LED Mask at CES 2025.

The Nanoleaf LED light therapy face mask is now available for pre-order at a price of $150.

Nanoleaf showcased a variety of innovations at the recent CES 2025. In addition to its usual range of smart lights, the brand made its debut in the wellness sector with a LED light therapy facial mask. This device, which represents an advanced skincare product, is certified as level 2 by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), ensuring its efficiency and safety. While the design of the mask may seem unsettling, its price of $150 positions it as a considerably more affordable option compared to other similar devices priced around $500.

The mask offers various functions, including proven treatments using red and near-infrared (NIR) light that help reduce fine lines, acne, and improve skin tone while stimulating collagen production. It also introduces seven different modes to target specific skin issues, and its ergonomic design promises comfortable use.

Regarding its lighting products, Nanoleaf introduced three new smart lights: a multicolor floor lamp, a light strip for PC screens, and the 4D V2. The floor lamp stands out by offering over 16 million colors and a modern design that integrates with the company's Sense+ switch, in addition to being controllable via its mobile app and compatible with Matter. Meanwhile, the light strip for PC screens features a zigzag design to fit on the back of monitors, creating lighting effects that reflect the colors on the screen. The 4D V2 has a similar design that allows it to connect to the back of the television, providing an immersive visual experience.

In addition to these innovations, Nanoleaf launched a software subscription called Nanoleaf Premium, which offers access to advanced features like Orchestrator and Scenescapes. These tools can use real-time music detection to create dynamic color palettes or relaxing scenes, costing $2 per month or $20 per year.

On another note, Samsung may be preparing to unveil new smart glasses during the Galaxy S25 Unpacked event in early 2025. These augmented reality glasses are expected to have a lightweight and slim design, weighing only 50 grams, which is not much heavier than a traditional pair of glasses. While the presentation is scheduled for January, the official launch is not anticipated until the third quarter of 2025. This would mark Samsung's second recent foray into the wearable device market, following the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Ring last July.

This is not Samsung's first attempt to enter the high-tech accessories segment; previously, it launched the Samsung Gear VR, which provided virtual reality experiences by using a Galaxy phone as a display, but this device was discontinued due to the need for constant redesign.

In other news, the Oura ring has expanded its functionality with a new feature called Symptom Radar, which acts as an early warning system for respiratory illnesses, analyzing data collected during sleep and providing easy-to-interpret reports.

Finally, LG has appointed will.i.am as its new "Experiential Architect," and his first collaboration will be the launch of a new product line called "xboom by will.i.am," which will include wireless headphones and Bluetooth speakers, aiming to transform the xboom brand into a reference for advanced culture with an urban focus.
