Motorola unveils its new Moto G15 lineup and the Moto G05 model.

Motorola launched three new models in its Moto G series: the Moto G15, the Moto G15 Power, and the Moto G05. These devices, which fall into the entry-level range, are notable for having high-capacity batteries.

Motorola has recently introduced two new models in its budget smartphone lineup: the Moto G15 in its standard and Power versions, as well as the Moto G05. One of the standout features of these devices is their large battery capacity, along with being the first entry-level phones to come with Android 15.

The Moto G15 and G15 Power have similar hardware, with the exception of their batteries. The Power version is equipped with an impressive 6,000 mAh battery, while the standard model offers a capacity of 5,200 mAh. This difference makes the G15 Power slightly thicker (8.8 mm vs. 8.2 mm) and heavier (203 g compared to 190 g). Both models feature a 6.72-inch LCD display with Full HD+ resolution and an 8 MP front camera. On the back, there are two cameras: a main 50 MP camera and a 5 MP ultra-wide camera. Both phones use the Helio G81 chipset, which is an LTE-only platform, and feature an octa-core CPU that reaches 2 GHz along with 4 GB of RAM. As for storage, options range from 128 to 512 GB, with the possibility of expansion via a microSD card. Additionally, they include a 3.5 mm audio jack, FM radio, NFC, and support for dual SIM cards. The available color options are Gravity Gray, Iguana Green, and Sunrise Orange, all featuring a vegan leather panel on the back.

On the other hand, the Moto G05 shares the Helio G81 chipset and storage capabilities with the Moto G15, as well as the thickness of 8.2 mm. However, its LCD display is 6.67 inches with a lower resolution of HD+. It also features a cutout for an 8 MP selfie camera and two cameras on the back, although the camera design is more simplified. The main camera, like in the G15, is 50 MP, but instead of an ultra-wide camera, it includes a secondary sensor. The G05 also has 4 GB of RAM and storage options of 64 or 128 GB. Like the other models, it is compatible with dual SIM and microSD cards, as well as having an IP54 rating and NFC (available only in certain regions), along with a 3.5 mm audio jack and Bluetooth 5.4. The G05 versions are available in Forest Green and Plum Red.

These new Motorola devices are scheduled to launch in Europe, Latin America, and Asia Pacific on a date yet to be specified.
