Microsoft unveils new Xbox wireless headphones with multiple enhancements.
Now available worldwide.
Microsoft has officially unveiled its new and improved Xbox Wireless Headset. Recently, a well-known dataminer had predicted that the company was preparing to launch a more expensive headset in November, which would be called "Xbox Wireless Headset Refresh." Although the name was not entirely accurate, it has been confirmed that the new Xbox Wireless Headset is a revamped version of the original hardware and is now available worldwide for $109.99 / £99.99 / AU$163.56.
This new headset, which is completely black, is priced $10 more than the previous model and offers a series of significant improvements, including support for Dolby Atmos. This feature provides "immersive spatial audio that brings games to life with vivid detail" and "transforms your listening experience by revealing depth, clarity, and details like never before."
According to the company, with built-in support for Dolby Atmos, Windows Sonic, and DTS Headphone:X, users can enjoy sound with astonishing precision, allowing them to pinpoint every step, explosion, or whisper in the game. Additionally, the new headset design is sleeker, and other features, such as voice isolation, have been optimized to ensure clearer communication during gameplay, along with the auto-mute function.
Thanks to Bluetooth 5.3 technology, users can easily pair their device with Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PC, and mobile devices, enjoying low-latency wireless connectivity thanks to Qualcomm S5 Gen 2 technology, which allows for smooth and uninterrupted gaming. Battery life has also been improved, offering up to 20 hours of gameplay on a single charge.
