Microsoft Outlook Introduces New AI-Powered Dynamic Themes.
Outlook becomes a bit more personalized thanks to artificial intelligence.
Microsoft has introduced a new feature in Outlook called "Themes by Copilot," which will use artificial intelligence to provide a more personalized aesthetic in its email client. This feature will be available to those with a Copilot Pro or enterprise license.
The new themes will be available across multiple platforms, including Outlook for Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and the web version. According to the company, the purpose of these themes is to make Outlook "more beautiful and accessible." Users will be able to create themes based on the weather or specific locations, which can be dynamically updated every few hours, daily, weekly, or monthly. For example, by enabling location permissions in Outlook, the "My Location" theme will display images inspired by the user's surroundings, automatically updating when the user is getting ready for a trip or vacation.
Each AI-generated theme will include a wallpaper on the desktop version of Outlook, as well as at the top of the apps for iOS and Android. Additionally, there will be an accent color that will customize the rest of the Outlook interface.
On the other hand, Microsoft will also launch a collection of themes that do not use artificial intelligence, which will be accessible to all users without a Copilot license. This collection will include themes in colors such as green, red, and purple, available in both the web version and applications for PC, Mac, and mobile devices.
