Meta halts the sale of Quest Pro.

However, you can still acquire their Touch Pro drivers.

Meta has stopped selling the Quest Pro, as noted by UploadVR. This decision comes just over two months after the company announced the suspension of this high-end virtual reality headset. At the time, Meta stated that it would continue selling the device until the end of the year or until stock ran out, whichever came first. However, it seems that the stock was not depleted.

The product page, which previously offered the device for $999, now states that the "Meta Quest Pro is no longer available" and suggests that users consider the Meta Quest 3 as an alternative, a model that has received better reviews than its predecessor. It is worth mentioning that the company is still selling the Touch Pro controllers for the Quest Pro, which are compatible with the Quest 2 and later devices.

Virtual reality headsets have struggled to establish themselves in the mass market, particularly in the high-end segment. The Vision Pro, priced at $3,500, has seen improvements since receiving mixed reviews, although it has yet to achieve widespread acceptance. Reports indicate that Apple reduced production of this model in October. Meanwhile, the Quest Pro, which was launched at a relatively more accessible price of $1,499, did not have such a positive reception. Although it featured better internal specifications than the Quest 2 and some technological advancements, it was also heavy, expensive, and did not offer significantly superior displays.
