Leaks of the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion suggest an impressive device with upgrades in camera and artificial intelligence.

Supposed marketing images of the new Motorola Edge 60 Fusion show a redesign, a triple rear camera setup, and the integration of Moto AI since its launch.

Motorola joins the "AI in the phone" trend with its product line for 2025, following in the footsteps of giants like Google and Samsung, as well as several well-known Chinese brands. Recently, images of the new Moto Edge 60 Fusion have leaked, which will be one of the brand's first non-foldable phones to incorporate the Moto AI artificial intelligence system.

The images, shared by leaker Evan Blass, highlight the Moto AI branding. So far, Motorola's artificial intelligence features have been reserved for its latest generation foldable phones and the flagship Edge 50 Ultra. It is important to note that the system is still in beta phase. Moto AI, announced last year, utilizes Google's artificial intelligence stack, including access to tools like the Gemini assistant, the Imagen photo generation model, and Google Cloud Vertex. Initially, Moto AI featured a tool called Magic Canvas that transforms text descriptions into creative images, along with a function called Style Sync that generates wallpapers based on users' clothing.

With beta testing underway, the set of artificial intelligence features has significantly increased, incorporating a more functional approach. One of the additions is the Catch Me Up feature, which summarizes unseen notifications for users. Additionally, the Remember This option allows users to add personal notes to the built-in journal. To access Moto AI, users can use gestures, take photographs, and issue voice commands to save information. Thanks to an integrated search system, the journal allows users to review previously saved information using natural language descriptions.

Furthermore, the Pay Attention feature records conversations, automatically transcribes them, and provides a summary. This approach is similar to Apple's Notes app, which has improved with its new artificial intelligence. With the Edge 60 Fusion, Motorola seems to be offering the entire Moto AI toolset from the start.

As for hardware, the new phone is presumed to include three cameras on the back. The Edge 50 Fusion, by comparison, had two lenses: a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 13MP ultra-wide camera. Its successor will likely incorporate a zoom lens. The leaked images also confirm the presence of a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical stabilization in the Edge 60 Fusion, which uses one of Sony's LYTIA image sensors.

The vegan leather finish appears to be a permanent feature in this generation, and a new sea green color with a textile finish on the back is also introduced. In addition to the new color palette, there is a design change in the Edge 60 Fusion, which features a quadruple curved screen and symmetrical bezels on all sides, unlike the slanted edges of the Edge 50 Fusion. At first glance, this model resembles the OnePlus 7 Pro, although the design is interrupted by the centrally located selfie camera.

As for internal specifications, details have not yet been revealed, and Motorola has not mentioned an official release date for the Edge 60 series. However, considering the launch of the Edge 50, it is likely that the new line of phones will be announced sometime in April of this year.
