It is reported that Metal Gear Solid Delta, Assassin's Creed Shadows, and Final Fantasy 7 Remake will come to Nintendo Switch 2.

It is claimed that Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will be released in 2026.

A new report indicates that a variety of high-profile games are on the way for the new Nintendo Switch 2 console. According to a well-known leaker, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will be one of the first major titles to debut on this platform, alongside Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, the latter expected in 2026.

In a recent podcast, it was mentioned that Ubisoft is collaborating to bring two of its Assassin’s Creed games to the upcoming console. Assassin’s Creed Mirage is expected to be available at launch, while Assassin’s Creed Shadows, which has faced a delay and will release on March 20 for PC and next-gen consoles, will come to Switch 2 at a later date. The information suggests that while Shadows is in development for Switch 2, it will not be ready for the launch window.

Additionally, it is reported that Ubisoft has over six titles in development for the Switch 2, many of which will be late releases of existing games, including highly played titles like The Division and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. There has also been consideration for launching a Mario Rabbids collection that includes the first two games in a single package, although it is still undetermined when these games will be available.

For now, a release date for the Nintendo Switch 2 has not been confirmed, but recent rumors suggest that the console announcement could happen soon, following months of speculation and leaks.
