It could be our first look at the OnePlus 13.
Recently, we have had many leaks regarding the OnePlus 13. Now, a new image might give us a good view of its design.
OnePlus has announced today its plans for a major software update based on Android 15, although details about its upcoming flagship device remain a secret. However, recent leaks have begun to emerge on the Chinese platform Weibo. An image that supposedly shows the OnePlus 13 has started circulating, coming from a source considered reliable, which adds credibility to this leak.
In terms of design, it seems OnePlus is sticking with a familiar aesthetic, as the rear camera island resembles that of the OnePlus 12. This time, a small metallic line has been included that connects the camera bump to the right edge of the frame. Above this line, a minimalist "H" logo can be seen, suggesting that Hasselblad camera tuning will continue to be used in the OnePlus 13.
One of the most notable changes is the introduction of flat metallic edges. In recent generations, OnePlus flagship devices have featured curved frames, which are more comfortable to hold. This modification could be viewed as an aesthetic transition toward a design similar to that of Samsung and Apple, something that is not well-received by everyone. However, the texture on the back of the device, apparently inspired by rocks or minerals, maintains a matte finish that resembles the OnePlus 12, with which some users have expressed satisfaction.
OnePlus has also mentioned that it is exploring the use of natural materials, such as marble, for its designs, resulting in some very impressive options. Regarding the color palette, in addition to black, it is expected that the OnePlus 13 will feature a pearlescent white option, similar to what is offered on the OnePlus 12.
Inside, the device is expected to include three camera lenses on the back and be equipped with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor. Additionally, there are rumors of implementing a unique localized refresh rate technology for the display, as well as a larger battery and AI-driven improvements for the OxygenOS software experience. Unfortunately, an increase in price is also anticipated to accompany these changes. The official presentation of the phone is expected for the end of October, although this may initially be only for the Chinese market, while the global arrival of the device may take a few more weeks.
