Is Nosferatu available for streaming? Find out when the gothic horror will arrive on Peacock.

The successful 2024 gothic horror film, Nosferatu, from Focus Features, will be available on the streaming platform Peacock starting February 21, 2025. This version will feature an extended cut that has not been shown in theaters, offering viewers a new experience of the film. Additionally, there will be a documentary titled Nosferatu: An Inside Look, which will provide a behind-the-scenes perspective on the making of the film and include interviews with the creators involved in its production.

Director Robert Eggers brings back this classic silent film from 1922, Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror. The story follows Ellen Hutter, played by Lily-Rose Depp, as she faces a terrifying vampire known as Count Orlok, a role taken on by Bill Skarsgård. The plot thickens when her husband, Thomas (Nicholas Hoult), a real estate agent, is sent to Transylvania to sell land to Orlok, who seeks to get closer to Ellen, putting everyone around her in danger. The cast also includes actors such as Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Emma Corrin, Ralph Ineson, Simon McBurney, and Willem Dafoe.

Released on Christmas Day, Nosferatu has been both a critical and commercial success, grossing over $176 million worldwide on a budget of $50 million. This film received nominations for four Academy Awards in categories such as cinematography, costume design, production design, and makeup. With Nosferatu, Eggers achieves his greatest success to date, surpassing the $70 million gross of his previous film, The Northman, which is also available on Peacock. The filmmaker has been confirmed to direct a new project titled Werwulf, scheduled for release on December 25, 2026.
