I tried Razer's new gaming chair, which has autonomous heating and cooling functions.
Razer unveiled a gaming chair design at CES 2025 that has the ability to cool or heat users.
During CES 2025, Razer unveiled a concept that surprised many: a gaming chair capable of regulating its temperature. Although it initially seemed like an overly ambitious idea, the experience of sitting in it and feeling a cool breeze around the neck demonstrated its potential. The model, known as Project Arielle, is based on the Razer Fujin Pro, an adjustable mesh chair that was already designed to provide comfort and ventilation.
The innovative aspect of this chair is its self-adaptive heating system located in the back, which uses a positive temperature coefficient to heat the frame. In addition, the chair also features a cooling mode, which is activated by a touch button on the side, causing the lighting to change from red to blue when the cool air fans are turned on.
Although both functionalities were not overly intense and had three adjustment levels, the main goal was to maintain a sense of comfort rather than to heat or cool drastically. While this concept left a good impression, it remains just a project, a reminder that Razer often showcases experimental technologies that never make it to market. Despite this, many hope that this innovative product will materialize in the future.
