Huawei launches a new app for stargazing.
Huawei aims for your mobile phone to be designed to always capture the most spectacular images of the sky.
Huawei's DTES is focused on maximizing the potential of its Huawei Weather application, which has recently received a notable update. This improvement includes a new astronomy package aimed at providing information about the position of stars and presenting maps for sky observation.
The updates consist of three additional features integrated into Huawei Weather:
-
Star Observation Index: Users will be able to check the best nights for star observation, with suggestions based on a ranking of stars. This index will offer a detailed report covering the current day, the following day, and a forecast for the next three days. This functionality is easily accessible through the Weather section of the app.
-
Hourly Astronomical Index Forecast: This section gathers various meteorological data, such as hourly temperature, visibility, cloud cover, and wind speed, among others. All this will enable users to identify the most favorable moments for stargazing.
-
Star Observation Map: This tool indicates the best places and times to enjoy a star-filled sky, helping users make the most of their starry nights.
Huawei has highlighted the significant effort in terms of personnel and technical resources invested in the Weather application, with the goal of transforming it into an optimal meteorological platform. The new astronomy feature is expected to be available to all app users in the near future.
