Honor confirms the worldwide launch of the Magic 7 and Magic 7 Pro; key features revealed.

The Honor Magic 7 series, which includes the Honor Magic 7 and the Honor Magic 7 Pro, was officially announced in China on Wednesday.

The Honor Magic 7 series, which includes the Honor Magic 7 and Honor Magic 7 Pro models, was officially launched in China last Wednesday. It has been confirmed that a global release for these devices will take place in the near future, although the exact date has not yet been announced. Both phones feature Snapdragon 8 Elite chipsets and are capable of offering fast charging both wired at 100W and wireless at 80W.

Additionally, the devices come with a triple rear camera setup that includes telephoto lenses. They run on MagicOS 9.0, based on Android 15. Bhavya Siddappa, the company’s global public relations head, announced the upcoming launch in a post but did not reveal whether the Honor Magic 7 and Magic 7 Pro models will be available in India, nor did she provide a specific date. More details are expected in the coming days.

The Honor Magic 7 is equipped with a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED display with a full-HD+ resolution (1,264 x 2,800 pixels), while the Pro model features a 6.8-inch LTPO OLED display with a full-HD+ resolution (1,280 x 2,800 pixels). Both panels have a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, a maximum brightness of 1,600 nits, and are TÜV Rheinland certified for eye safety.

In terms of performance, these smartphones are powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite SoCs, and configurations can include up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage, all running on MagicOS 9.0.

The Honor Magic 7 series devices feature a 50-megapixel main sensor, a secondary 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and 50-megapixel front cameras. The standard model includes a 50-megapixel telephoto camera, while the Pro model features a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, both capable of delivering 3x optical zoom.

Regarding battery life, the Honor Magic 7 has a capacity of 5,650 mAh, while the Pro model comes with a 5,850 mAh battery. Both models include integrated ultrasonic fingerprint sensors in the display and have IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance. They also support dual 5G connectivity, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, AGPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, NFC, and USB Type-C.
