Here are all the upgrades for Baldur’s Gate on PS5 Pro.
Today, the PS5 Pro arrives in stores, accompanied by the enhanced version of Baldur's Gate 3. This update brings an optimized multiplayer mode, among other new features.
Today is the big day. Those with an extra $700 can purchase a new PS5 Pro console. At launch, it already boasts over 50 enhanced games, including the acclaimed Baldur’s Gate 3. Developer Larian Studios has revealed several features available for those who are still undecided about Sony's latest device.
The Quality and Performance modes have been optimized to "achieve sharp graphics on console without compromising performance fluidity." The Quality mode now runs at native 4K at 30 fps, while the Performance mode enhances a resolution from 1440p to 2160p at 60 fps, thanks to Sony's PSSR scaling technology.
Additionally, the split-screen multiplayer experience has received significant improvements, which could justify the investment for some players. In this new mode, players can choose between 30 fps or 60 fps, depending on whether they are using Quality or Performance mode.
This update for the PS5 Pro also includes minor enhancements for the standard PS5 version. For example, Larian has fixed an issue that prevented players from downloading or subscribing to mods when loading into another user's multiplayer game with mods enabled.
For those unfamiliar, Baldur’s Gate 3 is an exceptional RPG that emphasizes player choice. It is the closest a video game has come to recreating the experience of sitting down to play Dungeons and Dragons. And, on top of that, players can interact with a bear.
