Epic Games is hosting a major in-game event as a prelude to its upcoming nostalgia season, which seems to be focused on music. The event is named “Remix: The Prelude,” and an announcement from Epic invites players to attend with “the volume UP.” Fortnite is already known for its spectacular musical events, so this celebration, marking the end of the current Marvel-themed season, promises to be a true spectacle.
The title "Remix" suggests that Epic might be bringing back and remixing elements from Chapter 2 seasons, similar to what they did with the “OG” season from Chapter 1 last year. The company has shared some clues about what to expect from these remixes, including a character that fuses Meowscles, a muscular cat, with Midas.
The event "Remix: The Prelude" will start at 6:30 PM ET / 3:30 PM PT. Epic recommends logging in early to avoid missing the event, as previous events have reached maximum capacity at times.
To watch the Fortnite event, players must enter a Battle Royale or Zero Build match before the start time and head to the Restored Reels location. Those who are unable to watch it in-game will have the option to follow the stream through various streamers on platforms like Twitch or YouTube.
