Guide to Canceling Your Fubo Subscription
Although you have access to all the sports matches you could want, you have decided to cancel your Fubo subscription. Don’t worry, below we explain how you can cancel your Fubo subscription.
If you’re considering canceling your Fubo subscription, whether because your favorite sports season has ended or simply because it did not meet your expectations, the process is quite straightforward. It’s essential to remember the way you initially signed up, as this will determine the method you need to follow to execute the cancellation.
If you signed up for Fubo through its website, you will need to return there to manage your cancellation. First, log into your account on the Fubo site and follow these steps:
- Click on the settings icon in the upper right corner, which looks like a gear.
- Select "My Account" from the drop-down menu.
- Go to the "Subscription" option.
- Click "Cancel" at the bottom of the page.
- You may be offered a promotion to stay. If you wish to proceed with the cancellation, select "Cancel Subscription."
- Once you have completed these steps, you will receive a confirmation of your cancellation; simply select "OK" to close the window.
If, on the other hand, you registered through Roku, you will need to cancel the subscription there. You can do this by following these instructions on the Roku page:
- Log into your account on the Roku site.
- Access your subscriptions.
- Select "Cancel Subscription."
- Confirm your decision by choosing "Yes, cancel."
You can also cancel the subscription from your Roku device:
- Press the home button on your remote.
- Use the directional pad to select the partner subscriptions channel or the Roku Channel.
- Press the star button to open the channel options menu.
- Select "Manage Subscriptions."
- Choose "Cancel Subscription." A message will appear indicating how long you will still have access to the content.
- Finally, select "Done."
If you don’t remember how you signed up for Fubo, there is a simple way to find out:
- Open the account information page on Fubo.
- If you registered through the web, you will see your account details along with the next billing date. If you did so through Roku, it will appear as "Roku Subscription."
Once you have completed these steps, you will have canceled your Fubo subscription. If you are looking for a new streaming service, you might consider Hulu with Live TV or YouTube TV, which also offer live programming and VOD, to ensure you don’t miss your favorite shows.
