Google Pixel reintroduces highly requested camera features in its latest update.

White balance! Brightness! Shadows!

Google Pixel users can celebrate a long-awaited return with the latest camera app update. In version 9.7, manual controls are restored on the main screen, making it easier to adjust white balance, brightness, and shadows, just like before. In the current model, Pixel 9 Pro, while it was possible to adjust these settings, accessing the camera settings menu was required, which made the process a bit more complicated. The new update allows users to pin these options to the main screen, reducing the need for constant changes.

Although the update is still being rolled out, many users are already expressing their excitement in forums, noting that the old manual settings are much simpler to use compared to the new ones. Reactions are mostly positive, with comments highlighting user satisfaction and the success of the Pixel series over the past year.

In addition to these improvements in camera control, the update also includes new photography features such as the Dual Screen Portrait Mode, available on the Pixel 9 Pro Fold and Pixel Fold models.
