GMKTec has unveiled a preview of its new Mini PC NAS, designed specifically for those seeking affordable options.
GMKTec has announced its new G9 NAS mini PC, a device specifically designed for users seeking entry-level options. This equipment is characterized by its ability to function as a "dual-system NAS," suggesting that it will allow users to switch between NAS-oriented and mini PC operating systems, although specific details are still limited.
The G9 will be offered with 12GB of RAM and is expected to have 64GB of storage, which will likely be eMMC. This model is powered by an Intel N150 processor and LPDDR5 memory running at 4800MHz, providing a performance increase of 80% over the previous DDR4 standard, according to GMKTec.
In terms of connectivity, the G9 will be equipped with two 2.5G Ethernet ports, two USB Type-A ports, one high-speed USB Type-C port, and two HDMI ports. While the company has indicated that the device will be available "coming soon," no details about the price have been revealed yet.
Considering the specifications and type of storage, the G9 is expected to be quite affordable. However, users with higher power requirements may seek alternatives in the market.
