Get ready to unleash the madness!
The first teaser trailer for Season 2 of Chapter 6 of Fortnite, titled "Lawless," has been released. This new season will take players to an environment called Crime City, where criminal activity never ceases. The cinematic trailer reveals the setting in all its chaos and showcases several new characters that will be part of the upcoming Battle Pass.
The rumor that this season would include a heist has been confirmed, as the trailer begins with Big Dill, a playable pickle, in the midst of robbing a bank, accompanied by his song "Runamok." The trailer's description confirms that players will be able to loot the Fletcher Kane banks, carry out a train robbery, and make explosive escapes in the Battle Royale mode of this new season.
As the trailer progresses, chaos unfolds when the bag of gold bars that Dill stole passes from one character to another until it ultimately ends up in the hands of a mob boss with a werewolf-like appearance, who seems to be the season's antagonist. The new look for Midas, a character returning from Chapter 2 Season 1, is also revealed, along with gameplay snippets in Crime City, where players wreak havoc with what appears to be a new laser weapon.
Epic Games has confirmed that Sub-Zero, a character from Mortal Kombat, will be included in the new Battle Pass, making him the first character from that franchise to join the game. Although his abilities have yet to be detailed, the trailer offers a glimpse of his ice powers.
Season 2 of Chapter 6 of Fortnite: Lawless is set to begin on February 21, 2025.
