Face a curse in the new No Man's Sky event.

No Man's Sky will also have an event for the launch of the PS5 Pro.

The recent No Man's Sky event will take players to explore the boundaries between this world and the next. The expedition titled "Cursed" will take place over the next two weeks, offering new boss battles, unheard-of gear, a flying saucer, and a customizable UFO for players.

As with every new event, the developers at Hello Games have introduced changes to the game dynamics. "Cursed" is set in a new universe where the line between life and... non-life is extremely thin. The exosuit, which normally protects players from the harsh conditions of space and alien planets, now incorporates an "anomaly suppressor" that will allow players to remain stable while reality around them transforms. Additionally, players will not be able to teleport between star systems and will have to use a portal system to navigate (similar to how guild navigators transport characters in Dune, but without the use of psychoactive drugs).

Regarding references to major figures in science fiction, "Cursed" also features a new hub called Boundary StarShip, which, according to official information, is inspired by the works of H.R. Giger. Players can expect environments filled with tubes, fleshy ridges, and moist elements in their exploration.

The "Cursed" expedition kicks off today and will last for two weeks. However, if chilling experiences are not to your liking, Hello Games is also planning a special event centered around the upcoming release of the PS5 Pro.
