It's official! Shaq is joining Fortnite.
Quite spectacular?
The famous basketball player turned entrepreneur and rapper, Shaquille O’Neal, joins the list of celebrities who have collaborated with the popular game Fortnite, introducing not one, but two new skins inspired by him.
The first of these skins is the Shaq Outfit (DJ Diesel), which reflects the style of his alter ego as a DJ. This skin can be chosen between two styles: the regular version and a more stylish variant called Festival Headliner. Additionally, players can customize the skin with different accessories, such as the option to remove Shaq's glasses or hat. It is also reactive, meaning it dynamically lights up as the player accumulates eliminations.
The second skin, called Super Shaq, features O’Neal in a superhero suit and is available in seven distinct colors. Both skins have detailed Lego versions within the Fortnite universe.
Both skins are part of the new "Shaquille O'Neal Set," which includes emotes like Ones N Twos and Shaq Shimmy. Other available accessories include the Shaq’s DJ Decks backpack, the Super Shaq Shield backpack, and the harvesting tools Axe-Lifier and Shaq Attackers. Additionally, a wrap called Shaqsleeves is added, which gives a black and gold pattern to selected weapons.
Shaquille O’Neal commented on his arrival in Fortnite, stating that he has conquered the court, cheered in stadiums, and is now looking to dominate the gaming world. He emphasized that every stage of his career has been about breaking boundaries and creating amazing experiences that bring people together through sports, music, and entertainment. He also expressed his excitement for this new opportunity that allows him to combine his love for music with the adrenaline of video games, promising to bring energy to the game.
