Clean the Shrek Universe in PowerWash Simulator.
A new downloadable content pack for PowerWash Simulator will allow players to thoroughly clean Shrek's swamp, Hansel's honeymoon hideaway, and the perfect location of Duloc.
The Shrek saga includes numerous films, but an interesting question has never been addressed: who is responsible for cleaning up the mess left after the ogre and his various fairy tale villains have finished fighting? Square Enix has found an answer to this question with its product PowerWash Simulator.
The company has collaborated with DreamWorks to launch the Shrek Special Pack DLC, which is now available on all consoles and PC. This new pack includes a variety of scenarios inspired by the iconic animated films, as well as additional armor and tools to make cleaning up the dirt accumulated in the Shrek world easier.
The DLC introduces five new locations that need a deep clean. These are: the swamp where Shrek lives, the town of Duloc with its charming information booth, the Fairy Godmother's potion factory, the dragon's lair, and Hansel's charming Honeymoon Hideaway, which features Shrek's onion-made wedding carriage.
Additionally, the Shrek Special Pack features a new campaign mode that allows players to explore the new scenes while receiving a set of knight-themed armor and cleaning hoses. Throughout the adventure, players can receive messages from "familiar faces," although probably not from the Muffin Man, a character who only makes a brief appearance as a reference in the first film.
One of the standout features of PowerWash Simulator is the creativity displayed in its DLC packs. Square Enix has also created cleaning scenarios based on franchises like Back to the Future, Tomb Raider, and Final Fantasy. The developers have been so busy with their various cleaning tasks that they even lost track of one and ended up releasing it for players on Steam.
