Birdfy's Bath Pro is a birdbath with smart features, inspired by bird feeders with cameras.

Translate to English the following summary: "Observe how they fly (and bathe)."

Birdfy has launched the Birdfy Bath Pro, a smart birdbath equipped with a camera that allows observation of local birds while they bathe. This device features two lenses: a wide-angle lens and an auto-tracking lens, as well as an AI analysis option that records and summarizes visits to the bath. The product is currently available for pre-order.

The integrated camera has a 2MP wide-angle lens that records in 1080p, and a 3MP “portrait lens” with 2K resolution. It has an IP66 waterproof rating, meaning it can withstand bird splashes, rain, and direct jets of water. However, if located in a cold region, it's important to note that the camera may function slowly or not turn on if the outside temperature drops below 14 degrees Fahrenheit (about -10 degrees Celsius).

The Birdfy Bath Pro sends notifications when birds arrive. The fountain part includes five interchangeable nozzles that, according to Birdfy, create "captivating water patterns." The price of the Bath Pro is $249.99, or $299.99 if the stand is included. For an additional cost of $50, it is also possible to acquire a lifetime subscription to the AI analysis service, which promises to recognize birds, provide daily visitor counts, and highlight images of the birds. Additionally, it offers monthly summaries that compare the bath's performance with that of other Birdfy device owners.

Additional features include an integrated solar panel to keep its 9,000mAh battery charged, cloud storage for videos and images, and Wi-Fi connectivity that allows viewing of birds from a mobile phone in real-time.

The Birdfy Bath Pro represents a logical step after the successful launch of the Bird Buddy, a smart bird feeder, in 2023. Bird Buddy has also introduced a similar prototype, although it has not yet started shipping according to the updates on its Kickstarter page. Birdfy also offers other bird feeders, including the recently announced Birdfy Feeder Metal, which has features similar to those of the Bath Pro.
