Apple's 10th Generation iPad Gets a $50 Discount for Black Friday.
Apple is offering the 10th generation iPad at a price of $299.
Apple's Black Friday deals have begun to appear, offering the opportunity to purchase a new iPad at a reduced price. Currently, the 10th generation iPad is available for $299 on Amazon, which represents a $50 discount from its usual price. Although this device was launched in 2022, it remains the best budget iPad option for 2024. This model had reached a historic low price of $298 in October, and it is expected that $299 will be its lowest price during this year's Black Friday.
The Costco flyer also sets the price of the 10th generation iPad at $299, and other retailers typically adjust their prices accordingly. This iPad is only slightly thicker and heavier than the iPad Air, and its design is similar to the latter. Unlike its predecessor, it has eliminated the home button and features a larger display with thinner bezels. It is equipped with Apple's A14 Bionic chip, which debuted in the iPhone 12 and has enough power to perform tasks like editing RAW photos in Lightroom seamlessly. In battery life tests, it was found to be able to play movies continuously for 11 hours and 45 minutes on a single charge.
Unlike previous models that used Lightning ports, this iPad comes with a USB-C port for charging. Apple has also repositioned the front camera to the horizontal edge of the device. The screen has grown to 10.9 inches, providing a more comfortable experience when using multiple applications. Although the iPad Air offers a superior display with lamination and anti-reflective coating, the display of the 10th generation iPad is quite good for its price, especially with the current discount.
