Apple TV+ will arrive on Amazon Prime Video this month.

Soon you will be able to subscribe to Apple TV+ through Amazon Prime Video, allowing you to enjoy series like Ted Lasso alongside the characters from The Boys.

Amazon and Apple have reached an agreement for the streaming service Apple TV+ to be available through Prime Video later this month. The subscription cost will remain at $10 per month, and subscribers will have access to the same content offered on other platforms where Apple TV+ is available. Eddy Cue, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Services, stated in a press release that the goal is to make Apple TV+’s award-winning library of series and films accessible to a wide audience.

Apple TV+ includes a variety of original productions, ranging from notably popular series like Ted Lasso, Silo, Slow Horses, The Morning Show, and Severance, to original films like Killers of the Flower Moon and Wolves. Additionally, it is the exclusive home of the MLS Season Pass, which provides access to all MLS matches, as well as MLS NEXT and MLS NEXT Pro.

The inclusion of Apple TV+ in Prime Video adds another prominent option to the extensive list of subscriptions available on this platform, which already includes services like Max, STARZ, Paramount+, and AMC+, among over 100 options. This addition is seen as a significant achievement for Amazon Prime Video, which began the year with a major overhaul and redesign.

Mike Hopkins, Senior Vice President and head of Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios, emphasized that Prime Video is establishing itself as a versatile entertainment destination, offering a wide selection of premium programming that includes originals from Amazon MGM Studios, live sports, licensed films and series, as well as an extensive catalog of titles for rent or purchase. Hopkins expressed his satisfaction with integrating Apple TV+ and its acclaimed content into Prime Video.

Although Apple TV+ has had its ups and downs throughout its history, it has achieved some critical success, particularly with recognized works like CODA, the winner of the Best Picture award, and the Emmy-winning series Severance. While few new productions are added to Apple TV+ each month, those that do often merit at least a glance. This October will be no exception.

The Prime Video landscape also includes a mix of original productions that receive diverse reviews. Recently, some well-regarded shows like The Horrors of Dolores Roach and With Love were canceled, possibly due to low viewership. For those seeking recommendations on the best shows currently available on Prime Video, there are a variety of titles that deserve a spot on your watchlist.
