An innovative four-legged standing desk showcases a potential evolution of this popular home office furniture.
The COFO JSF table can easily switch between seated and standing modes.
The JSF table by COFO, designed by the Japanese firm COFO, stands out for its versatility, functioning as an adjustable desk, dining table, or low table. Its height can be smoothly modified, with a range from 62.5 cm to 99.4 cm, and it features an LED screen that indicates the current height of the table. This model, a result of collaboration with Journal Standard Furniture and funded through Makuake, adopts a modern approach to functionality and design.
The table is equipped with a quadruple motor that allows for stable and quiet height adjustments at a speed of 32 mm per second, ensuring that items on the table are not disturbed during the process. Additionally, it incorporates a magnetic storage system that enables users to organize their belongings according to their preferences. This system includes magnetic hooks and a new slim drawer intended for storing small items such as stationery, phones, and tablets, which can also be used to store tablecloths and cutlery when transformed into a dining table.
In terms of connectivity, the table includes three integrated USB ports—two Type-C and one Type-A—facilitating easy device charging. Made from solid wood, it is available in two finishes, “Medium Wood” and “Natural,” complemented with matte white or matte black legs. The table comes in widths of 120 cm and 140 cm, easily adapting to both home and office spaces.
The price of the JSF table by COFO starts at 159,999 yen (around $1,045) for the 120 cm model and from 169,999 yen (approximately $1,110) for the 140 cm version. The company ships worldwide, with shipping costs to the United States amounting to 60,000 yen (approximately $390).
