Now you can get a Pixel Watch 2 for just $224.

You can also take the opportunity to save on the new Amazon Fire HD 8 tablet.

The Pixel Watch 3 could be the brilliant upgrade that Google’s wearable line needed, but the previous generation Pixel Watch 2 remains an excellent purchasing option. This is particularly true given that it currently starts at just $224, which represents a discount of $26, available at Amazon and Best Buy.

Although the Pixel Watch 3 features several significant improvements, such as a larger and brighter display, a new 44 mm size, AI-generated workout suggestions, and offline Google Maps, the Pixel Watch 2 remains an appealing device. This model is only available in a 41 mm size, and its usable display area is approximately 10% smaller than that of the third-generation model. Both devices are powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear W5 Gen 1 chip, although the newer model includes an ultra-wideband chip that allows users to unlock nearby Pixel devices and certain BMW vehicles.

Overall, performance between the two models is similar, and both offer comparable battery life of around 24 hours per charge. With the Watch 2, you really only miss out on the new training features; some functions previously exclusive to Wear OS 5 are already available for the Watch 2, while the display on the new model is said to be twice as bright. If you don’t think the new features of the Pixel Watch 3 justify the starting price of $350, the older model remains highly recommended.

The Pixel Watch 2 can reliably last 24 hours with always-on display. It shares the same processor with the new Pixel Watch 3, features a multi-path health sensor, is compatible with Wear OS 5, and offers several useful security features.

In other highlighted products, the new Amazon Fire HD 8 is now available at a reduced price of $54.99, a markdown of $45, just before the upcoming Amazon Prime Day event. This device includes hardware upgrades, such as 3 GB of RAM and a 5-megapixel rear camera, and it also features new AI-driven capabilities.

The Airmega AP-1512HH Mighty air purifier is on sale at Amazon for Prime members at an initial price of $149.99, a notably competitive price. This compact unit features a three-stage filtration system, including a true HEPA filter, and is capable of covering areas up to 874 square feet.

On the other hand, Apple’s new 2m MagSafe charger can be purchased for $44 at Amazon or $45.99 at Best Buy, representing some modest discounts since its launch in September. This charger enables fast charging of 25W on the iPhone 16 or 16 Pro with a 30W adapter and up to 15W on other Qi2 and MagSafe-compatible models.
