"After 25 Years Enjoying WWE, Now is the Perfect Time to Start Watching it Thanks to Netflix."

The WWE Era on Netflix

Wrestling has been one of my longest-lasting passions, and although I recently turned 30, my interest remains intact. Throughout my life, there have been moments when my enthusiasm has waned, but the narrative of wrestling always manages to draw me back in. Since January, the popular weekly WWE show, "Monday Night Raw," has been streaming live on Netflix worldwide, and with a monumental $5 billion deal, the road to Wrestlemania, the most important event on the wrestling calendar, has already begun. It’s the perfect time to rekindle your interest in wrestling, whether you’ve been a fan in the past or if you’ve never seen an event.

The Netflix era has arrived, marking a new peak for WWE. Remembering the golden age of the late 90s and early 2000s, when WWE, then known as WWF, featured iconic figures like Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock filling stadiums across the United States, we realize that today WWE has broken all attendance records following its sale to TKO, the parent company of UFC. The popularity of WWE has never been higher, with adults returning to see icons like John Cena in his final year and children captivated by new legends like Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes.

Despite the criticism directed at wrestling for being "fake" and its implausible storylines, my respect for the art of wrestling has grown over the years. While the outcomes of matches are predictable, this should not diminish the value of an experience that offers impressive live performances from wrestlers like Seth Rollins and CM Punk. Today's narratives, such as The Bloodline saga, which explores the Samoan wrestling dynasty, are genuine masterpieces of live television.

In the UK and other parts of the world, in addition to "Raw," Netflix also presents "SmackDown" on Fridays, along with all Premium Live Events, including Wrestlemania, Royal Rumble, and Summerslam. The recent celebration of the Royal Rumble marked the beginning of an exciting storytelling season that will lead us to Wrestlemania 41 in Las Vegas, scheduled for April 19 and 20.

WWE has gone through years of disinterest, especially when it decided to shift towards a family audience after the era of The Rock and Austin. However, it has now become culturally acceptable and even appealing to say that one watches wrestling. Wrestlers like Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, and Rhea Ripley are creating a new wave on live television.

For those in the United States, "WWE Raw" airs every Monday on Netflix, while Premium events can be viewed on Peacock. In other regions, such as the UK and Australia, the complete WWE catalog is available on Netflix, including past events from the 80s, allowing longtime fans to revisit their favorite moments.

The next big WWE event is Elimination Chamber, which will be broadcast live worldwide on March 1. Now is the perfect time to try "WWE Raw" on Netflix and discover all that this exciting form of entertainment has to offer.
